Paul Mclean and I brought hundreds of guests to Scotland over many years and hosted 5 Clan Maclean Gathering tours together. Marcus (my partner) joined Paul and I for the 2023 Clan Maclean Gathering and we now specialise in whisky tours.

Since Paul’s passing, we’ve been asked to run one final Gathering Tour – The Clan Maclean Gathering 2027 and we’re delighted to be bringing some of the old team back together.

I’d like to thank all the guests who have travelled with mcleanscotland and we’ll be delighted to meet old and new friends for this international event. I’ve known Sir Lachlan for 28 years, last year I introduced him to Sue Mclean and he kindly, spontaneously gave us a private tour of Duart Castle. We are offering a luxury coach and private driver/guided tours. Please join us.

Coach tour (max 30 guests)

Includes luxury coach for 7 days, 1 night in Glasgow, 4 nights at The Western Isles Hotel Tobermory, 2 nights in Inverness and 2 nights in Edinburgh. £2,795pp sharing, based on 2026 prices. Ask us about staying longer.

Private tours (2-6 guests) 

You can take the same route as the coach, staying at The Tobermory Hotel. We work with you to design, your exclusive, personalized tour – to give you an idea of cost, this sample tour is based on the coach itinerary with a group of four, £3,295pp sharing, on 2026 prices

I have known Paul and Liz for 20+ years and for each of my trips (6) to Scotland for the Clan Maclean International Gathering I leaned on them heavily for guidance, knowledge and entertainment. Meeting Marcus for the first time in 2017 added a new Scotland expert to the crew.
